Quick Question hopefully a quick answer.

Will a bw-1354 bolt up to a 5R55E or what ever tranny is in a 95 Explorer? I got my D44 and 9inch ready to go in with gears, but I don't want to be stuck with that t-case that A) doesnt have a kit for a doubler, and B) has a clutch that wears when you spin in 2wd.

The 13-54 was used in Rangers behind the 4R55E/5R55E through '97 at least, so it should be doable. I don't think you need to change anything (output shaft etc). I'm not sure how the GEM will like the 13-54. I'm not sure if the manual 13-54 is easier to swap in or the electric, because I don't know how the electronic issues work out.
