quick reference, size of alt in X sport?

Did a search and coulnd't turn up much. i'm assuming somebody knows the amperage rating on an 01 X sport alternator.

just incase people are wondering, the reason why i'm interested in this is that the more powerful your system is the more important it is to have an alternator that can handle the stress. Upgrading your battery and adding farad caps is just a band-aid if you dont' have the right alternator.

I think it depends. I believe that they come factory with 90 and 130 amps. I think the 130's were optional, but came with the tow package, but I'm not positive.

90 is what i have heard..... not sure if they came with 130, seems a bit high to me for stock..... afterall actual police vehicles use a modified alternator that kicks out 200
