Hello.
I am reading a bit about idle and the IAC. My 92 explorer is a manual. It idles high between shifts and idles high when I am slowing to a stop. It seems that the idle will return to normal when the wheels stop rolling, but is up about 1500 to 2000 rpm while slowing down. It doesn't seem to matter if the clutch is in or not. There is no CEL.
Could this be a related problem or should I look somewhere else? It has been cold here, could that be the issue?
I appreciate the help.
