Does anyone know if the radiator part number for a 5 speed is different from the one used for an auto trans truck? Mine is a 1995 Explorer Sport 5 speed - some parts suppliers do not make it clear. I think the radiator used in auto trans trucks differs because it has to accept the transmission coolant lines.

Thanks

Usually you just use the auto trans radiator and ignore the two ports for the trans lines. RockAuto does list one specifically for the manual trans.

i bought a manual transmission radiator for my 92 it would have worked but the auto trans fan shroud is different then the manual and it did not fit on the radiator everything else was the same. Also the radiator is thiner. I will use it when i switch to electric fan setup

OK great thanks for the replies guys. I looked at the RockAuto part and it seems the manual version has one row, but the auto trans version has two. So i'll just buy the one row version specific to the manual transmission car.
