Friends,

I've searched high and low, even came across acouple of posts but nothing
matches my wiring issue. A few months back I swapped a radio out of my old
1994 explorer into my new 1994 explorer. I simply followed the colored wires
in each matched it to the new one and vola it worked fine. Well As luck
would have it someone stole my radio. So I am left with a bunch of wires
(factory original ones) in the radio area, but no details regarding which ones
go to what speaker. I have the following:
Solid Green
Solid LightBlue
Light Blue with a black stipe
White with a Red stripe
White with an Orange stripe
Purple with a White stripe
Solid Yellow
and Solid Brown. These I believe are all for the speakers.
The powered one I think I can figure out with the use of a multimeter.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks
-Joe

Silly of me, but I figured out the color codes (I believe). I just could stand
another drive into work without tunes.
Solid Green - Front Drivers side positive
White with Orange stripe - Front drivers side negative
Solid brown - Front Pasenger side Positive
White with a red stripe - Front passengers negative
Yellow solid - Back Drivers side Positive
Light blue with black stripe - Back drivers side negative
Solid Light Blue - Back Passengers side positive
Purple with a white stripe - Back Passengers side negative.

Hope that helps someone.
-Joe
