I have a '98 sport that I am going to do a TT and add warrior shackles. I also need new shocks (the originals are worn out). I was planning on putting on the Rancho 5000's, but I was wondering if anyone knows will they work with 2"of lift, or do I need longer shocks? Also, do I have to replace the shocks at the same time I do the lift? Would it be okay to keep the stock shocks on for a few weeks with the lift?

i have the RS5000's with the shackles and TT, no problems with them here. i did the TT/shackles with my blown stock shocks for a while, then i got the rancho's a month later, everything went smooth, you will notice a big difference when you go with the rancho's

Yomie, Thanks for your feedback. I think that's what I will do. I am still having second thoughts about the Rancho 5000's though. I am thinking about maybe getting the 9000's instead? I just haven't made my mind up yet. How does your Ex. handle and ride with the 5000's?

the back end is decnet, it is a lil rough on bumps (like harsh bumps, not rolling bumps) at higher speeds, like on the interstate, it would be nice to have them a lil softer in the rear, so if you did get the 9000's for the rear you could dial them up however you wanted whether it be soft of harsh, i might end up getting the 9000's, since i plan on going 33's on 4" of lift!

Would the 9000's (stock length) also work with the 2" lift? Since they are stock length, wouldn't they limit down travel?

Same here

I am also running the X-act same set up . No probs w/ down travel or anything else . goodluck , Rand :D

Thanks for the info.:D
