Ok, have a strange I thing electrical issue that effects the timing. Recently had guides go bad for the second time in 15000 miles. Had them replaced by original mechanic under warranty.
Now it will run fine for a while and then run rough, throw an engine code involving the timing.
Sometimes it can run for 15 minutes and do this, sometimes it can run for an hour and do this. But it always does this.
The code is always a timing code, but not always in the same bank.
Cam phasers have been replaced and the timing chain is set correctly using the special tools, Appears to be an electrical issue.
Any help appreciated! It is driving four mechanics including a Ford certified mechanic nuts!
