Ranger bed on second gen sport trac

Has anyone done this? I love the second gen sport trac but not the weird little funky bed it has. I'm sure I can drop a Ranger bed on with some fab but Im worried about how it will line up or even look?

If anyone has done anything like this I would love to see pics of it. Or even someone with photoshop skills would be greatly appreciated.

It wouldn't probably wouldn't look right at all, the ranger is about 4" less wide. Why not just get a bed extender? Not to mention, that would make the departure angle terrible.

The front of the Ranger bed won't line up with the cab of the Sport Trac. Also the distance between the wheelwells and front of the bed on a Ranger bed is way too long to fit on a Sport Trac. You could pretend you're George Barris and cut and weld it so it fits but that would be a lot of time and work to make something that will look like **** when you're done with it.

Reminds me of the ole mountain trucks. 71 Ford 250 with a chevy bed.
