So I bout an explorer today(more on the later) and my friend, who lifted his explorer told me that he used a 3" spindle lift for the ranger EDGE. he told me it wold work because the EDGE and the explorer have the same size rotor. Anyways just wondering if anyone's done this or not?

I was tempted to do this with my explorer, so did you end up installing it and if so how did it work?

it depends on the explorer whether you will need to get another set of rotors. the diameters vary on explorers. post pics if you get it done, id love to see hwo it comes out.

Edge lift spindles will work on all 2wd 95-2001 explorers. Its a total bolt on deal.

Alright thanks, I have a 96 so this is probably the way I'll go considering my budget, proably have. It in a few months

The only problems Ive had putting Fabtech spindles on Explorers have been on the 01-03 sports. For some reason they don't have the 11.25" rotor, but even if you run into this problem which I don't think you will. It's an easy modification for new rotors/calipers.
