GENTS,
follow up to a couple of recent posts regarding my motor swap. engine is doing fine and runs unbelievably smooth. special thanks to vipersinu2 for the helpful info on injectors and whatnot. i have pictures of this particular swap that i will be posting on here shortly. i do have a problem with a vibration going down the road. bear in mind that i have never driven this vehicle prior to this so i don't know if the problem was there before the swap. it sounds like it is coming from the front, sounds like a tire rubbing to me. it increases as my speed increases. not sure if it is a bearing? front differential? i have replaced 2 rear diffys so i am pretty sure it is not that. this is an awd model. i replaced the driver side front wheel bearing assembly and it did not cure the problem. i have a spare front bearing assembly i guess i will change out unless somebody tells me differently. it's a steady whirring that increases with speed but does not change tone with swerving (wheel bearing) or throttle application (differential). t-case? what really sucks is that i just sold a complete donor vehicle for 500 that had everything i needed. any thoughts or opinions are appreciated.
