Ranger Rear Differential Locker Selection

I am trying to decide which Eaton locker to install in my 2001 Ranger Edge 4X4. What are the advantages and disadvantage to the Eaton Detroit Locker and the Eaton TruTrac Locker? I like to drive off road approximately 20% of the time in the Colorado 4 wheel drive roads. I also need to use the truck as a daily driver. Any suggestions or advice on this subject would be appreciated. Thanks.

Lockers are for the serious off-roaders. The Trutrac would be perfect for the uses you describe.
The Trutrac is about the best limited slip out there, and is the closest you can get to a locker without having an actual locker.

Can you put the eaton trutrac locker in a 5.0 explorer with awd? I got stuck in the snow last weekend and now I want a better LSD. I want to do a 4406 swap in the future as well..
