Rattle from front right wheel area - not A Pillar

Probably a brake pad or caliper rattling. I had it in all of my previous Explorers, and there was a fix for it, which was a clip Ford installed. But I thought they had eliminated the problem with this generation. Maybe not.

Welcome to the Forum Explorunkwn.:wavey:
When beginning a thread on a topic, just one thread will suffice. You may not always get a response right a way but usually a member will respond. In this case I have deleted two of the threads and merged the other with this existing thread which seems to cover the same issue. I suggest that you schedule a dealer visit to have them check it out. You can also send a PM (Private Message) to Crystal, the Ford Service rep on this forum. If you wish to do so, you can use this link;
http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/private.php?do=newpm&u=157968
When you PM, be sure to include your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, mileage, and servicing dealership in your message.
Good luck.

I am new to this forum. I currently own a 2013 Explorer XLT and have a rattle noise coming from the front wheel area of the vehicle. It only occurs on rougher paved roads not smooth paved roads. Any ideas as to what the problems could be? Has anyone dealt with this?

Welcome to the site, Explorunkwn! I suggest making an appointment at your dealership so they can diagnose. How many miles are on your Explorer? Circle back and tell us what you hear at the dealer; I'll be here if you need any additional help.

Crystal
