Has anyone checked out the RCD 5" Lift. It is said to be for '98+ Rangers, but as of that point they had the torsion bars up front with their IFS. You can check out the link here

http://www.performancecenter.com/product/Lift+Kits/Lift+Kits+-+Suspension/0/5/0/Ford/1998/Ranger/4WD/5-Inch+Lift+Kit?brandname=RCD

I am going to try and call the site to see if they can provide more info, but according to the ford manual, the control arms for Rangers and Explorers of 98 were the same part number, leading me to believe that they are the same  .

It would be a cool change from Torsion bars to Coil overs in the front and match that up with a SOA in the rear for an equal (or close to) ride height
