That bar is definitely installed upside down. Also check the brake lines as they are probably rubbing badly on the bar. This also happens when the bar is installed correctly. Some gentle bending of the lines and they can be moved out of harms way.

Hmm. alright I'll check tomorrow.. I left a box there.. I'll see if they can flip it.. the oem one seemed to point up too.. I believe they installed it the same way.. but I see from the postings it might need to be flipped..
 






Here is a pic of mine, not sure though. Might be the angle of the picture. You can see how I moved the brake line.

The suspension is on full extension there.
 













OP's car is up on a hoist suspended from the front leaf spring mount, the suspension is at full extension.

If it were on the ground the arms might be closer to horizontal.

So the bar is on right, just under load? bad angle? its down in the garage.. so I'm still confused.. will check in the morning..

Look at it when it's on the ground and see what angle the arms are at.
 






I think Flash is correct, sorry, too much late evening browsing. I hadn't noticed your ride was off ground. Please do check those brake lines though.
