That bar is definitely installed upside down. Also check the brake lines as they are probably rubbing badly on the bar. This also happens when the bar is installed correctly. Some gentle bending of the lines and they can be moved out of harms way.

Hmm. alright I'll check tomorrow.. I left a box there.. I'll see if they can flip it.. the oem one seemed to point up too.. I believe they installed it the same way.. but I see from the postings it might need to be flipped..
