re weights in a a4ld with zc piston????

i just picked up a zc piston an cover for my a4ld when i was in the tranny shop the guys says i need a match weight set to use that piston.
well the tranny im putting it into already was rebuilt 3000km ago so i dont know what was used in there.
so is it still safe to use that piston servo set for my o/d???
still not know what weights are in there
btw iv already rebuilt the valve body with same kits used in the stickys

You could use it. Maybe he was referring to the tension of the spring in the servo bore?

well i did put the zc servo in an the truck is up an running again but od dont seem to be working as well now seem to be a slight slip till i let up to shift . when i put the servo an cover on i used the spring for the 5r55 bore i think i need to use the a4ld od spring . the ab servo i used the pink spring from shift kit
