1993 explorer sport
Just got a 1993 ford explorer sport.
Had new a/c put in.
Had new exhaust manifolds and engine pipe put in.
Had oxygen sensors and mass air flow sensor put in.
Now it's stalling at idle and idle fluctuating like crazy

Theres a small uncapped (or unhosed?) pipe on the the drivers side of the engine with air just shooting out of it.

pic didnt work

brake booster or cruise control

Thx. I guess by capping them it will fix the vacuum problem? Do they make caps?
I don't have cruise control

Just replace the hose.you won't have power brakes or cruse if you cap it

Huh. It doesn't have power brakes or cruise control anyway. I appreciate the help very much, btw

Why doesn't it? Braking must suck with out power brakes

it sucks big time. Did this model come with power brakes? And they just need to be repaired? On installed?

It should have both.take a pic of farther out so we can see the brake booster and the fender area.that big hose should go to the brake booster I thing and the one your missing should go to the cruise control I think

Will take pic and post tmrw. Bringing it to the shop tmrw
Thanks

Yea just checked mine that hose that your missing goes to the cruise control,so it can just be caped

So the big hose laying on top in the pic goes to the brakes booster?

Yep should connect to a big round black thing on the firewall.

Wow man you've been a super help, I appreciate it.
Its been a LONG time since I had a vehicle. I bought this one for 300$. Its needed a bunch of work. Still seems like a good buy, though
