- 2001 Merc Mountaineer
Hey, anyone had experience with the rear blower motor. I have a 2001 Mountaineer...A/C and heat work fine up front, but the rear blower does not work. I pulled the center console out and tested everything. I hooked the blower motor up to a 12v power supply and it's fine...I also ran the motor through the resistor pack off the power supply and that worked, so the motor and the resistor pack are confirmed as working. I disassembled the rear switch and it seems fine too. I only get .02v at the switch connector when I check it with a meter...this drops to .01v when the "rear fan off" switch is engaged on the dash...it appears I'm not getting current to the switch.
So given that info, any thoughts or suggestions?
