Before I even spend $20 I'd like to check my rear abs sensor. Any idea on what range it should read on an ohm meter? Front ones too if you've got that info. But both front read the same.97 xlt awd 5.0L

Hello guys
What is the specifications of Rear speed sensor ABS of explorer xlt 2005 4.0L

I don't think there is a real check it is a hall effect sensor
The sensor works with a tone ring
The tone ring is placed near the sensor
The ring has notches in it like a gear
The sensor creates a small voltage
When moved over the notches
That voltage is messed by the pcm
To determine speed ect...
If you get a reading of say 1.5k ohms to say 3.0k ohms then your good
If it reads ..0.. then it is bad
Sometimes the magnet inside the sensor gets week
Sometimes the tone ring is damaged ..not likely..
Sometimes the wire harness is bad or dirty

Good luck
Ps buy a new one
