Rear Axle Noise Tsb 05-12-6

I am afraid I may be hearing the beginning signs of the rear differential noise problem. I can't necessarily say for sure it is from the rear diff, it sounds like drivetrain noise. I can only hear it with radio completley off and no one talking. It doens't change pitch or loudness, but does disaapear when coasting. No one else has noticed it, but I haven't pointed out to them either.

What are my chances of getting a dealer to atleast look at it. Or service as warranty.

The sysmptoms sound kinda like it. May just want to call the dealer and ask them how much. May do it for free. When was the last time you did a diff service on it? May need to do it and put some friction modifier in it.
