Would a Rear leaking Axle Seal cause the truck to have traction issues when going up my gravel driveway? I haven't check the diff fluid color or level yet.

Traction issues like what?

Sounds most likely as Torque converter slip.

Rear axle seal is non related situation.Seal leaks because of the CV joint bearing runout.thats all
