My rear brackets recently went bad. Picked up some new ones at the junkyard off of a 92. They worked fine. But my issue arose after installing the first one. Upon taking the second one out one of the bolts became stuck. The head of it proceeded to get stripped. So I had to result to try to grind off the head to remove it. But after that and a lot of brute force, It would not budge.

My main issue is that there is some type of bushing at least that is what I think it is that the bolt goes through the bracket and then the frame then through the bushing then back through the frame and bracket. But I had to drill out the rubber part of the bushing to remove the bolt. I did eventually install the new (used) bracket but am now missing the bushing that was once there. Is this a replacable part.

Thank you for any help. I have been a lurker for a while and you guys have provided me with much help.

Go to a local Spring guy. He'll have bushings that will work. Hopefully he will sell you a pair for cheap

if your talking about the rear shackle to frame bushing no one in the aftermarket has those in rubber. you can get the energy suspension kit wich comes with that bushing plus the ones for the leaf spring eyes. other then that youd have to try a spring shop, but results there could be mixed. remember that if you go with the energy suspension kit your going to reuse the metal sleve that goes through the frame so dont hurt it
