Rear Camera Update

Looking at buying a 2014 PUI that does not have read camera. I have a 2013 PUI that does. Can I swap the rear camera and rear view mirror? Are the wires there on the 2014 from Ford, any forscan settings need resetting?

The OEM camera & mirror tie-in to a wiring harness that I'm pretty sure a PIU without the option won't have. Does the 2013 have SYNC, or only the camera?

You would also need to reprogram modules, regardless.

The easy way would be to pay Jason (jmr061) $50 for a modified as-built codeplug & a video input wire through fordpimods.com to allow you to attach a standard 3rd-party rear-view camera to the FCDIM (that's the screen in the middle of the dash).
