I was about to purchase some mobil 1 full synthetic rear diff oil at something like 75/90 weight and I noticed a mobil 1 gear oil that was supposedly for "SUVs" and it was 75/150 weight. Which one should I get? Does the 75/150 weight have any advantage over the 75/90 weight? Any disadvantages?

Thanks man, that is a great link. Any idea on the gear oil weight though?

I used 80w-90 in my 1992...

i also used 80w90 in my 93 with a limited slip additive. although many books and references say the limited slip additive is not required i always use it as another step in protecting the clutches. mobil 1 makes a 75w140 SUV/Truck blend that has a slight amount of friction modifier in it that you can find at Advance Auto. mine took just under 3 qts
