Rear door panel idea for PI Explorer

Still working around a few quirks of having a PI Explorer over the standard fare, one being the rear door panels are solid (for obvious reasons) and therefor cover the rear door speakers.

Instead of replacing them with costly civilian model panels, my idea was to dremel slots or drill a grill-pattern into the panel, and cover from the inside with panty hose or grill material (if I can find it).


Suggestions?

Most new speakers come with with the outer cover. All you need to do us cut out where the speaker goes and the 4 holes for the cover.
Just did that for the pontoon
