Had the panel off last night. Rear Drivers door. Looks like I can figure something out using Bicycle Brake cable.
I read some Threads on this and it says " 3 rivets" must be drilled. I count 2 nuts on the top of the door running Horizontal, 2 rivets running down the door Vertical and another 2 rivets at the bottom of the door running Horizontal. Is that correct?
Also how do I separate the window from the regulator so I can wiggle that thing out of the Speaker hole in the door?
Any other tips would be good.

It's been a while since I have had a window regulator in my hands so FWIW....

There are the two nuts on the top and 2 rivets on the bottom of the regulator. There are 2 rivets that hold the window to the regulator. Then there are three screws that hold the window motor to the regulator.

You take the window off of the regulator. Hold it up with tape or remove it from the door.

The window motor is connected to the door with 3 rivets.

Disconnect the electrical from the motor and pull the motor/regulator out of the door.

I don't think the speaker has to be removed to pull out the regulator.

If you can fix the thing with a bicycle brake cable then :chug: :chug:
