Hi everyone

I've looked everywhere I can't find a solution to my problem.

The rear driver side wheel started to make a grinding sound only when I applied the brakes but now it makes this sound while just driving with no brake being applied.

I went ahead and ordered new rotors and pads since they need to be done.

My question is, could there be anything else that's causing this noise. Maybe the rear wheel hub?

Also I can feel the vibrations on the brake pedal while coming to a stop.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The vibration in the pedal is probably from a warped rotor. The grinding noise is probably the wear bars on the pads, or rivets rubbing the rotors, or just the pads hitting warped rotors, etc. It probably just needs a brake job, but yes, there are other things it could be as well, like a really bad bearing, loose caliper, stuck parking brake, etc. Get the wheel off and inspect it instead of trying to guess.

Ok just wanted to see if anyone had any other opinions then mine. I'll prob get to it this weekend. Thanks for the reply.
