I recently bought a 2007 Explorer EB and it already has the DVD system mounted on the roof behind the front seats for the people sitting in the back 2 rows to watch. I'm looking for ways to customize my Explorer and my question is if I get one of those multi-faceted touchscreen Navigation/DVD/CD player things can I hook it up so I can put a movie in (either the front console or back) and watch the movie on the front and back screen simultaneously?

I don't have much experience in this type of thing, so I figured it couldn't hurt to ask, any information would be helpful, thanks!

Most of the newer In-Dash DvD units have an "Auxillary Video Output" connector. It is just the yellow RCA connector most times. You should search the built in DVD unit and see if it has a Video input option.
If so, BINGO!...

This should be an easy solution. It would best if you could keep the units seperate, and then just switch "Video IN" when you want to use both at the same time, that way, the back can display different than the fron if it wants to. (Kids / Friends in the car for long trips, and you still want to listen to the radio).

Ok cool, thanks I appreciate the heads up!
