it started snowing the night before and i was getting around great in my explorer, until the next morning at work i was coming back from a delivery and he stopped for a pedestrian; i was headed downhill taking it easy about 15mph and when he stopped i was already on a patch of ice. Needless to say he still sat there even after she had crossed and i smashed into the back of him.

Got to play in the snow first, with the new lights i put on. was a fun day.

Hey I think you broke your 4 day old lights? Just saying lol

Well at least that is all the damage it did. I was thinking worse when I read the thread title.

And now its mostly fixed, going tomorrow to get a grille guard and going to install new lights again... lol

That was quick.

Its been about a week since the accident, i just haven't put all the pictures up till now.

Gotcha. Looks good. Can you take the BFH to that last bump or is something underneath preventing it?

Glad to hear it wasn't a terrible one! Could have been a lot worse for both of ya if you were moving any quicker

New Grille gaurd

Really glad your Ex is fine. Like someone else said, I was thinking alot worse, and I hate seeing member's pride and joys hurt. Just curious though, how was the Econo van?

The vans bumper was toast, he took more damage than i did... lol and the back door was dented a little.

Ouch. Good to hear that he didn't drive away with nothing and you a busted grill, bumper etc, especially when it sounds like he should take SOME blame. But it's ice, what are you gonna do. Like I said, glad the Ex made it.

Nothing can keep an explorer down too long... $100 bucks and i'm basically new again. and another $100 for a new grille Guard.

New lights added today.
