The handle on my rear hatch has been working off and on for a while now. When I pull the handle it doesn't seem to be catching. Sometimes if I were to drive for a while or cycle the power locks I could get it to catch. Now, however, nothing is working and I need to tear into it to see if I can fix it. From other posts it sounds like a clip may have failed. My question is how do I get the interior panel off if I can't get the hatch open? I've seen a couple of nice write ups on how to get the panel off, but all of these have the hatch open. Is the procedure the same?
