I have a 98' XLT 4x4 Explorer. I bought rear leaf springs for a great price, but found out they came from a 96' 4x2 Explorer. The leafs currently on my truck a frowning, literally. Will the new ones I bought be compatible ?

pretty sure they're the same on all 4 door models,,

2 door models have a mono leaf,, so they're different,,

Damn, Yea this is a mono leaf, but my current leafs are so bad it seems to me they would still be way better than what I got. Will they fit ?

I know I can get under there and size them up myself, but it would save me time on the ground to know in advance. Always appreciate the help I get from you folks here. Thanks

The Sport's monoleaf springs need a set of spacers
(3 I think), to compensate for the missing leafs of
the 4-door spring pack. Without the spacers, the
truck will sit very low. I don't think you'll be satisfied
with the monos, I'd get the 4-door pack....

Brainstorm

You might be able to add your old individual springs
to the monoleaf to make an acceptable custom pack.

thats what I did i bought the coil over and did the add a leaf
