I'm replacing the rear window passenger side window regulator, it was making a sound like sand was being ground down.
All is going well, drilled out the rivet that holds the glass to the lifter, pushed the glass up and stuck it there.
Things are going great...until I try and undo the nuts that keep the regulator attached to the door. 3 undo easily, but 2 of them unfasten about 80% of the way and now just spin, and there is no bolt head as such (it's just a flat round disc for the bolt head, almost like a rivet), I've tried to grip it with pliers but I cannot get a good grip because of the cramped work space, and now the bolt head is even more round than before.
Anybody got any tips or tricks for this situation? I thinking a may have to try and saw them off.
