Rear window hinges

Where can I find detailed step by step instructions for installation of the rear window hinges on my 2001 Ford Explorer sport? Also what is the easiest way to put the clamps back on my rear window struts? Thank you!

Super easy just lift the trim from the inside and I'll see a whole for the bolt . also the side on the window is just a torx bit.

They might look the same but the bolt size is bigger in the 03's .

Best bet hit a local scrap yard I got about 3 hinges laying around

I know I have to disconnect the defroster.. Is there anything else to disconnect?

And those nasty clamps that go on the struts... I have torn my fingers up trying to get them back on the struts, there has to be a trick to this...

Nothing to disconnect on the 03 Sport, or the 99 were I got mine off , just peel the trim back a little, you will see a hole for access, the hole might be taped over
