I have a 2001 F. Sport Trac. Put new rear window motor in. Did initalizeing. Window will work only then. If I re try window wont work.

Truck is stalling out when I face down hill grade, rpm's drop. Put new mass flow sensor in,it helped some.

Print out the instructions for initializing the window and follow them EXACTLY in the time limits stated. It has to be done precisely. If it works at all then it should be a matter of either something binding slightly or not getting the process just right.

The grade really shouldn't have anything to do with the stalling on a fuel injected engine. Cleaned your idle control valve? Any codes?

Answer

Thanks, did initalize 3 or 4 times now works, Yea. Cleaned ICA, helped. Think I will just buy a new onw.

Good show! Yeah, cleaning the IAC usually gives temporary improvement and indicates if that is in fact the issue. Replacement is in order. Glad you got things working!
