- 2005 Ford Explorer 4x4 6L
Hello All! I'm new to the site and came hoping for some possible solutions or suggestions to try and resolve my wiper issue. I have a 2005 Ford Explorer 4x4 v6 with a rear wiper motor that will constantly run with the fluid while in the switches OFF position. I have to keep it in the 1st position so I don't waste all my fluid... I currently have the fuse pulled so i don't burn out the motor any more than i already have. I got the truck 2 years ago and replaced the wiper motor then, had no issues until this winter started. The problem is not constant either. I recently travled to another city and the whole way the motor worked fine. When I returned home the problem resumed... I have tried replacing the switch itself with a brand new one and the same problem persists. The motor is "relatively" new as I havn't used it much over the 2 years except this winter. My co'worker at the shop I am newly working in says its possibly theres a peoblem with the BCM. Another person thinks it may also by a faulty wire somewhere.. If this is confusing I appologize, lol, I hope somone may be able to help out, thanks!
