Rear wiper...On or Off??

Ok I'll be quick,My friend and I were throwing ideas around the other day about what I could to my truck and I came up with one. Take the rear wiper off,the mounts and remove the key hole.Then he asked if it would pass inspection if I remove the rear window wiper.Well I haven't got a clue.I think it would look sharp that way as I am gonna shave the door handles and remove the key pad as it is of no use to me anymore.So anyway'z is it illegal to remove the rear wiper?Will it pass inspection?

I don't see why not. Broncos never had them. Its just there as a convience(sp?). But i could be wrong.

there is no way it could be illegal because there were a few X's made stripped down with no rear wiper. i say go for it. shaved is better.

I think the way inspections work is... if its on the vehicle it has to work. That doesnt mean you can take your headlights off, but I doubt an inspection place is gonna think twice if they don't see a rear wiper on your truck.

I was very close to shaving my rear wiper off, but at the last minute I decided not to. I just couldn't justify that amount of money just to get rid of the rear wiper.

Here's what it'll look like. Minus the rollpan of course, unless you suprise us.

SPORTCRAZIE Go for it. It will look great. I am still working to have some more things like that done to mine. I want to have the holes from the roof rack filled and smoothed over too along with the wiper. You will have to keep the key hole or how else would you open the rear glass?

screw the rear glass. i say silicone it shut. i never use it anyway. (this is just me though).

As far as popin the rear glass my alarm takes care of that...So off with the key hole

Hey 98 Ford who's vehicle is that in the picture? almost looks like Hartmans. But he is making his rollpan right now. Unless he just got REALLY motivated. Dang Hartman you work quick!!! hehe

I didnt think i would like a rollpan on a vehicle but now that i have seen that one on there it looks pretty good actually.

I dont know. Frank Rizzo posted some pics of that a while back. He lives in CA so it doesnt suprise me that he saw it.
