rears, tires, and new sppedo gear?

im looking to install a 3" bl, a tt, and of course some bigger tires. i have a 97 xlt with ale code d4 which as i read is a limited slip with 3.73 gear set, correct? my quetion is should i try to find a diferent axle with 4.10. i only do mild wheeling (think the rock piles in mall parking lots, huge rocks the size of grapefruits). any way im having some trouble with the math for the new speedo gear. im looking at 31, 32, maybe 33 way down the road. i already know i have a 19 tooth right habd drive gear as i changed it once already. any light some one could shed would be great.

If you have a 5.0 3.73 gears will be fine up to 32" tires. If you have a 4.0 and 4.10 is what you will want. If you plan on going 33" tires go with 4.56 gears minmum.

yup, its 4.0........might have to do some scouting around. any one know what axles will cost(salvage of course)? and must both front and rear be changed?
