To cap off September, I organized a 4wheeling trip with the usual bunch of guys- theluke19 was there for part of it (I'll let him explain the rest of that story).
We tackled Red Cone and then down Webster Pass and into Keystone to do Keystone Gulch.
The H1 spent most of the day doing this:
This obstacle was the hardest I've come across while wheeling. My buddy in in Jeep J10 made it look easy after he got past the tree:
This was closer to what I dealt with- except my open diffs resulted in some spinning. THe pics of me going through it should surface soon:
The H1 goes around the big rocks:
Not the J10:
I missed the H1 going through this with any good shots:
Looking back to where we came from:
It was chilly and the lack of doors wasn't helping:
To the left is Webster Pass coming up to meet Red Cone that comes down on top of the ridge on the right:
You can see the trail on the very right:
Red Cone is known for a series of very steep hills. Pictures don't do it justice. This is 4 Low and on the brakes:
Compared to Red Cone, Keystone Gulch was a cake walk:
It was a fun day and I'll post more pics as I collect them from others.
