how adjust the regime of slow motion in a explorer 98' ?
thank you

can you explain a little further? i'm familiar with anything being called regime or slow motion?

maybe the idle while sitting still of the engine?

exactly the idle while sitting still of the engine

For 98's, I believe the engine idle is controlled by the computer and isn't physically adjustable unless you tap into the computer.

What is it doing?

It may just need a tune-up if it's slow or very rough

the idle while sitting still of the engine, at 900rpm the pressure of oil is bad, at 1 000 it is good

I have to press the pedal to rest at 1 000rpm

Sounds like you need to replace the oil pump then, or possibly the belt.

Can you get to a scanner and see if any codes are being thrown?

the belt????
the belt are different with the oil pump on the explorer 98' !!!!

Not sure I understand completely.

The belt could be old and not grabbing as much and thus not pumping as much oil.

ok,i change the belt!
sorry for my bag english ;-)

You should not have bad oil pressure at idle. You may also have bad rod (crank to engine block) bearings.
