my explorer has had a problem in the past when there was alot of rain and moisture outside i could turn the key on and nothing. not a sound. but all the lights was on and the battery was good. Well it has been raining all day here today. I went to start it up and nothing. I switched the EEC relay and another relay around and it started. I went to advance auto to buy a relay. i pulled both relays out to put the other relay back and the alarm went off. I turned the alarm off bought the new relay put it in the everytime i started the explorer the alarm would go off! about 6 times. then it would not start and i noticed that when i would turn the key on the check engine light would not lite up and the explorer would not do nothing when i tried to start it. I switched all the relays and it would not start and no check engine light. I then unplugged the batt for ten minutes. put the relay in i bought and still no check engine lite and no start. I then switched the blower motor relay and the new ecc relay and it started with no alarm. I drove it home shut her off and the alarm goes off? any ideas why? i then switched the relays back and now it starts fine. why would the relay not work one minute then work the next? any help would be appreciated.
