Today my remote stopped working: I can't remotely close or open the doors and so turn ON and OFF the alarm, so the car can be really used that way...

My remote is a 3 buttons (lock, unlock, panic).

The inside lock button is working fine so no problem at the actuator level.
I changed the batteries on the remote: did nothing.
I tried with the second remote that I've got (I never used since 4 years, so I'm not sure if this one is working...): nothing!
I tried unplugging the car battery for sometime: nothing!
I tried reprograming the remotes: after 5 cycled OFF-ACC I reach the programmation mode (lock/unlock cycle eared) but nothing happen when I push unlock (or lock) on both remotes!

Do I have 2 bad remotes or the receiver bad?

Is there a way I can find localy a compatible remote that I will reprogram to test (over the week-end solution, ebay order will be plan B) to check if it's on the remote or receiver side? I've to leave in 4 days and I'd like to let the car to wife and children operating...

Any other ideas?

Thanks for the help.

If the locks are cycling after you turn the ignition on and off I would say it is the remotes.
