Just got a new remote. When I program it into the EX will I deprogram the existing remotes?
2002 Limited 4.0

Yes, but when you program the new one you need to have all remotes you want programmed.

To program, with all doors shut, cycle the key to the on position (do not start) and off 10 times. On the 10th time (ending in the on position) you will hear a chime and the locks will cycle. Press the lock button on each remote you want programmed. Once all remotes have had a button pushed turn the key off. Test your remotes by pushing each button to make sure each function works.

Successfully programed today thanks... I did not get a chime but the locks did cycle.. It took only 8 on and off key cycles for my Car..
