Hi!
I'm helping a friend with his 89' SuperCab.
We are about to change the rear leaf springs but the rear mountings on the frame are really rusty and needs to be replaced. It seems hard to remove the rivets and replace the mouting without removing the bed.

With the bed off we also can tidy up the frame and do some painting!

My question:
Is it hard to remove the bed? Is the bed bolted from above (underneath the bed liner)?
How heavy (approx) is the bed?

Best regards

yes remove bedliner should be 6 bolts with a torx bit size t-55 i eleive just a hint if u have a product called PB BLASTER available spray all the bolts. most likely the bolts wil break off
other than that u need to remove tail lights and push wiring down past box and also unhook the fuel filler hose lifts rite off 2 people can lift it off
