Replaced cruise control switches, now airbag light on dash

Replaced the cruise control switches on the steering wheel; Disconnected the battery for about 45 minutes, removed the air bag, installed the new switches, reinstalled the air bag. Cruise control works fine, but now get a air bag light on the dash: It will flash like four times, go out for a few seconds, flash again like three times, go out for a few seconds, then come back on solid.

? Is there a "reset" for this light? I have a engine code reader, but it does not "see" that light/code.

You can try erasing codes with your reader, but I would recheck the connection with the plug on the airbag and make sure it’s fully seated. If all else fails, you might have to get it scanned with a reader that looks at the srs module to tell you what’s going on.
