replaced fuel pump and now car starts but runs rough

ok guys...

this isnt an X question but i figured someone has to have a tip and/or trick....

the fuel pump in my GF acclaim died... so i dropped the tank and put a new pump in it. Now the car starts up fine but idles like crap and when you give it gas the engine just wants to fall on its face......
any ideas what to look for now?? this car is driving me crazy...

How's the fuel filter?

fuel filter, plugs/wires. bad fuel pressure reg.


My X is doing the same. I thought it was the pump *i changed the filter* , but at 120K miles i still have the origonal plugs.

Check the fuel pressure. Its possible the new pump is bad.

New fuel pump is in and a new set of plugs and now the car runs pretty well....

it still has this stupid little vibration and odd idle at stop lights and stuff. It has always done this though since I have known the car. its a 4 cylinder with 98K miles
