You can google and find videos that are pretty good and other discussions on this forum. Here's what I learned
Be aware of your inlet and outlet sizes. I started to order one on ebay for $89 but discovered the inlet was 1 3/4. I ordered RockAuto's Spectra $120 that had an 1 1/2 inlet on Wednesday and received it Friday noon.
Went and picked up a loaner tool to remove fan from O'reilly's. The jaws of the wrench was all beat and spread open, which was damaging the fan nut, so, I decided to attempt to remove it without out pulling fan. After about an hour I had the radiator out. It just takes some wiggling and prying to get the clips out, working it back and forth. It's a good idea to discount the battery as the air bag sensor is near the condenser.
Before installing the new radiator I used a cut off disk on drill and cut about 3/8 off the guides on the condenser. Hoping to make it easier to install the new one.
Installing the new radiator, it didn't just slide in. It took alot of wiggling and jiggling probably over an hour and that is with the guides shortened. Went to hook up the tranny cooler and the tube fitting would not slide in passed the threads.Took the old fitting out but it's male thread is not the same as the new radiators. Went to two auto parts stores for an adapter and got no help. Stopped by a radiator shop and learned that on older fords the tubing nut would sometimes swell, to take coarse emery and sand it down. Sanding was getting no place, so took a fine file and went around the tubing nut several times until it slid in pass the threads. That worked.
That's it. Hope it helps someone.
