I am a new member to this website and was wondering how I can replace the rear license plate lights. My friend said is should pop it off with a scewdriver, but someone else said to twist it off. Thanks for your help.

there are 2 little clip tabs that hold it into the bumper, a flatblade screwdriver is all you need to remove the housing... however you can just go through the inside of the bumper and twist the wires/socket and the bulb will come out

Look under the bumper and the bulbs should just screw right out in their socket. ou shouldn't need a screw driver at all. I did this on my old '95. They are meant to come out screwdriverless.

much like the corner light in your turn signals, it's 1/2 turn or so and the socket pulls right out of the housing - from the inside of the bumper... Just did mine yesterday
