Hey, I'm new to this forum, but I need some help. I have a 1996 Ford Explorer with a 5.0 engine. My Transmission went out and I got another one to replace it myself. While attempting this I have found that part of my Exhaust is in my way. I've taken off the nuts and bolts but it would seem the pipe have fused together. I used some WD40 but have had no luck getting the pipe to come lose. Can anyone give me some tips on how to get it off? Or do I even need to take them off? They look in the way, but I could be wrong.

Good luck, you will need to heat up hardware with torch to get them off.

Thanks. I put some WD40 on over night, and then heated up the metal with a blow torch. Then we used a crowbar to pry it lose.
