reset fuel light

hi all just been out in my explorer (1999 ) and had red light come up on instrument cluster. reset fuel. any ideas ? cheers Chris

This is something to do with the inertia switch (button on firewall under glove box). Try pressing it and see if that fixes it.

thanks Howard that's the problem i think inertia switch is faulty as this car was diagnosed with faulty fuel pump by AA before i got it. the pump was changed by a ford dealer. cheers Chris
