Return From Azusa Canyon 11-11-07

JUst got back from an impromtu run up to Azusa Canyon with RJ and Company it was a good day no major breakage no problems. RJ got his truck working great now. no Exploding hubs no jerking front end was running nice and smooth

The only problem I had was my coil spring popped out again other than that it was all good.

This photo RJ was trying to scale the side of the mountain but got stuck and had to back down right into a rock No damage done tho

Nahh it was just Cloudy overcast all day and on the cool side....defintly needed a jacket also a bit breezy up there

For those of us that might try some this incredible in the future, please explain pressure washing? Or like, is it done using the coin-op car wash?

Next time you guys go, if you see a guy w/ a redx on a distant hill with a 700x zoom, that will be me

...a coin-op car wash that has a deisel truck bay is a good place to start...most car washes will clog up from the mud...mud can be the start to new electrical problems, and so can pressure washing it off...

Thank you! I will avoid that part, for now... Are bystanders welcome to take pics? How long are you out there for typically? Sorry for all the questions, it's that I've never done that type of thing, but it looks like somewhere to bring the kid (17) and just hang out for a while... (I have to go post in the suggestions area... this is too much to miss!)

Nahh we left Azusa and grabbed some dinner and then came home i'll wash it off later.
but on the electrical front no new gremlins everything in that dept was working just fine
but i am still waiting for the big brown truck to drop off my new used computer tho.

...it is usually a total zoo out there and can be full of drunks and crazees...family's also go out there too...some people go out and just watch, picnic, tule around, and others, they gots to play in the mud...

Well, I used to work from home, so I have an extra pc w/2 monitors 19" and 17" with all the components... you would only need to transfer your cpu (I have a blank 500gb sitting there). This is for another forum though... These are 2007 models, m8000n or m8000e media centers... 4 gig each.

the 4.0 is ready... all 4 wheels will be in 4xlow and are 265/70/r17 - will buy a set of mud swampers if needed...
